Publication design
Design of chanting books designed to act as a textual aid for those teaching and practicing the sacred hindu tradition.

Shantala Sriramiah, in collaboration with Indica, conceptualized two books to aid in learning Vedic chanting. "Nitya Prārthanā" featuring popular daily-prayer chants, organised by daily life rhythms. "Nitya Dhyāna" compiles vedic mantras and sūktams, serving practitioners of yoga, ayurveda, and jyotiṣa.
Simple layout and text size optimised for chanting and a reader-friendly format aids in ease of use. Enhanced with artwork by Vedic iconography expert Drdha Vrata, the visual accompaniments reflect a convergence of artistic vision and spiritual intent. The creation of the books was a meditative process, with every detail of the layout, from typeface selection to overall design, meticulously crafted to reflect the sacred content.
