This project, driven by a curiosity for banana fiber and a passion to create lighting shades that make spaces glow from within, also guided a young designer to explore innovation in the craft sector. In collaboration with ‘Chetana’, run by the Prashanti Foundation in Sirsi, which supports differently-abled individuals in making products from banana fiber, we worked on product design to help create a market for these unique creations. The initiative blends traditional craft with modern design to support artisans and inspire new possibilities.
